DWP Reports Water Main Break Affecting Schools Near Roscoe Blvd. and Tampa Ave.

UPDATE: Water pressure has been restored to all schools impacted by a water main break near Roscoe Blvd. and Tampa Avenue. The affected schools were Fulbright ES, Mosk ES, Winnetka ES and Sutter MS. Winnetka and Sutter had low water pressure. Fulbright and Mosk had no water. Water pressure was restored within an hour. 

During that hour, schools followed the school safety plan to provide temporary facilities for students and staff. No one was negatively impacted and school operations continued as normal.

ORIGINAL ALERT:

The Department of Water & Power reported today a water main break in the area of Roscoe Boulevard and Tampa Avenue.

  

The following schools have been impacted:

Cleveland HS, Sutter MS, Fulbright ES, Mosk ES, Sunny Brae ES, and Winnetka ES

 

The District has reported that those schools have low or no water pressure. They are using emergency supplies until DWP completes repairs.
