Green Apple Day of Service 9-29-12

Come join us for the first annual Green Apple Day of Service, a day in which parents, teachers, students and advocates from around the world will work to make our schools healthier, more sustainable places to learn. 

There are projects planned all over Los Angeles, including four at LAUSD schools: building a wonderful instructional Learning Garden for the kids of 93rd Street Elementary School, kicking off Riverside Drive Charter School’s sustainable campus beautification plan with the construction of an edible garden, painting the teacher’s cafeteria and cleaning up the campus at Thomas Starr King Middle School, and improving the garden and painting a new mural at Micheltorena Elementary School.
