“MMED Partners with SPED!”
The Multilingual and Multicultural Education Department (MMED) has partnered with the Division of Special Education to train over 2400 secondary teachers with English Language Development curricular materials. Special Day Program and Resource Program teachers will continue to participate in these two day institutes to specifically meet the needs of our English Learner Students with disabilities. LAUSD is moving forward to increase student achievement through collaboration and the shared vision that all students can and will be successful with appropriate support!
